Return Policy

This policy applies to all purchases made through the HereToDressyou online store by customers located in Australia.

We are committed to ensuring you are satisfied with your purchase. This policy outlines your rights and obligations regarding returns, exchanges, and refunds, and complies with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

Return Eligibility

  • Items may be returned within 30 days from the date of delivery.
  • To be eligible for a return, the item must be:
    • Unused
    • Unworn
    • In its original packaging, with all tags attached
    • Returns received after the 30-day window will not be accepted.

Return Process

  1. Contact Us First
    To initiate a return, please email info@heretodressyou.com with the following:
    • Your order number
    • Any photos, if applicable

          Returns sent without prior authorisation will not be processed.

       2. Return Approval
           Once your return request is reviewed and approved, you will receive return                        instructions via email.

        3. Packaging
            Please pack the item securely to avoid damage during transit. Items damaged                  due to improper packaging may not be eligible for a refund.

        4. Shipping Costs

    • Customers are responsible for covering return shipping costs unless the return is due to a faulty, damaged, or incorrect item, in which case we will cover return postage.
    • We recommend using a trackable shipping service, as we are not responsible for items lost in transit.

Refunds

  • Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
  • If approved, your refund will be processed within up to 14 business days.
  • Refunds will be issued to the original method of payment.

Note: No restocking fees apply.

Exchanges

  • To request an exchange, contact us at info@heretodressyou.com with your order number and the item you would like to exchange.
  • We will guide you through the return and exchange process.
  • Exchange items will only be shipped once the original item is received and inspected.

Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Items

Under the Australian Consumer Law, you are entitled to a replacement, refund or repair if the product:

  • Is faulty or defective
  • Arrives damaged
  • Is substantially different from the description or sample shown
  • Is not fit for purpose

If any of the above applies, please contact us immediately at info@heretodressyou.com with photos and a description of the issue. We will cover all return shipping costs for items deemed faulty, damaged, or incorrect.

Your Rights Under Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Consumers are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure, and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
